Xavier Trevino attended Pratt Institute as a film major, but dropped out and became a heroin addict for 20 years. He got clean in the year 2001 and started writing about his experiences to be published as “Our Daily Juice”, a memoir of being an addict and finding a way out. He lives in Brooklyn and currently works as a handyman on the upper west side.

I enjoyed reading your post about Nightbirds. I used to go there when it was an after-hours bar and also when it was a restaurant.
I also used to go to the Pyramid.
